Asthma : Patients and families will be offered discussion regarding the pathology of asthma, trigger identification and elimination strategies. medication appropriateness, daily symptoms management, and plans to control acute and chronic situations. The plan is tailored to the individual family and a team approach is utilized to enhance symptom control.
Chronic lung disease : A plan is developed with family input to appropriately control symptoms of children with chronic lung disease to enhance the quality of life for the child and the family. The goal to minimize symptoms and impairment and decrease the likelihood of future impairment related to chronic lung disease through appropriate diagnosis.
